Mar 18, 2015 the best songs on late registration are among kanye's best (including literally his best). but it's the only one of his albums that's seriously hampered by sequencing. unlike college dropout, the skits actively detract from it. there's no momentum in the beginning then none at the end. i'm splitting hairs--it's still probably a classic, the margins here are very thin--but yeezus is probably a better overall album. @Swizz and i were talking about this the other day in our treehouse.

Mar 21, 2015 The disrespect of Graduation on sxn80 is downright disgusting. 1.MBDTF 2.Graduation 3.College dropout 4.LR 5.Yeezus 6.808s
Mar 21, 2015 Revisited it the other day, it still has a couple of really weak tracks that drag it down, but man is it a great listen. Possibly my favorite Ye album production wise, simply because it's still such a unique sound that no one (including Kanye himself) has really duplicated.
Mar 21, 2015 Yeah, definitely his best produced album. It was the perfect mix between samples and synths. Incredibly rich production. A good sound system or a pair of decent headphones really brings out the depth of it all.
Mar 21, 2015 This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think I Wonder might be his best work as a producer.
Mar 21, 2015 I could argue in favor of that tbh. He took a relatively basic sample and seamlessly built this otherworldly soundscape to compliment it. It's a great piece of music.
Mar 21, 2015 ? I mean it's a really basic drumline granted but it didn't need to be anything more that that.
Mar 21, 2015 MBDTF Yeezus LR CD 808s Grad edit- didn't realize I could have just quoted Swizz list I think @Vahn's is similar as well.
