Apr 14, 2017 6.5/10 I only kept DNA from the album. DNA is fire. I can't get into his pro black stance tracks. It's just not my style of music. I wish he would just rip beats apart and rap the way he did on DNA for a album.

Apr 14, 2017 This is my favorite kendrick album. His rapping skills are at a all time high on some of these songs. It's a dark album but a fun one at th same time. I didn't like tpab cause I don't like that sound. But tpab is a classic. Gkmc was a classic too but not something I go back to listen to. This is fun great rapping and not too heavy of an album.
Apr 14, 2017 ive got mixed feelings..the album sounds great which is nothing short of what I expect from a Kendrick Lamar album. I am surprised at the direction he went with this album..I wasn't expecting so many radio friendly songs or the lack of a story or main cohesive theme like GKMC and TPAB (unless im missing the theme of this album...ive only given it a couple of listens) I love these songs automatically : LOYALTY DNA LUST LOVE (Zacari feat is GOAT ...great combination imo) HUMBLE grew on me...i f---s with it ELEMENT Im not one to rate an album because i personally feel like its all subjective to what you like in music. But If i did give it a rating out of 10 it wouldnt be anything less than a 7.5 or 8......overall its exactly what fans of GKMC were wanting from Kendrick so its nice that he proved he can deliver not just what he is capable of but also what his fans desire from him. Apr 14, 2017 I FINISHED the album and it was VERY GOOD. I can say Good Kid Maad City i still my favourite from Kendrick Lamar. I will give it another listen.
Apr 15, 2017 they didnt grab my attention off the first couple of listens... these are tracks that im going to have to listen a couple of times to know if i like them or not
