Listened to this for the first time last night. While I can't deny that a couple of the songs are catchy, Pump is almost completely worthless as a rapper and I can't fathom why he's getting a pass for this s---. The producers did their thing and most of the guests turn in good performances. Album is mercifully brief.

    4/10, one point each for Gucci/2 Chainz/Keef/Rozay

Found myself listening to this again. This man is something else.
Even my girl likes it, but she also was huge into stuff like MCR and Taking Back Sunday in her early teens not that I’d put him in a box with them because dude clearly did his own thing

    7.5/10

Always heard his name jumping around when he was buzzing and still alive but never had the chance to get around to his music. Listening to this now felt a lot more powerful than I thought considering what tragically happened to him, the score doesn't really reflect how I was mesmerized by it in a vacuum.

The way Peep expresses his pain and despair is something else, while he is a bit raw and sometimes incoherent in his writing, it's a breathe of fresh air in what's becoming a crowded scene for emo/punk. One h--- of an ear for melodies too.

half the people posting blurbs with no ratings but I spose I'd rather have this problem than the usual one where people just post a rating and don't contribute anything lol

This s--- sounds like Yellowcard on some trappy experimental beats, it's decent. not sure about a rating yet tho.

Too much filler for me to give it a 9, I'll go with 8.5. For me C2 is better but I have no issues with anyone preferring C1. The beginning of the greatest run in the history of rap.

I have nothing to add. It's a known classic. The start of the Lil Wayne takeover. Mannie Fresh all over this project what else could you ask for?

great production mostly by one of the goat producers Mannie Fresh, catchy hooks but also got some tracks I been skipping lately, still think ppl underrate it sometimes, especially compared to the other Carter albums would give it an 8.5/10 rn

so many memories with this album. I remember the hype leading up to C3, i used to listen to this, C2 and the first 2 dedication tapes back to back, nonstop. looking back, it drags on a bit too long and he definitely topped this with C2 but still outstanding. still often return to I Miss My Dawgs, Walk In, Inside and Walk Out. same goes for C2 with Fly In, Carter 2 and Fly Out. Kinda wish he continued with that theme on C3 but oh well.

Definitely one of my favorite TDE albums. Great lyricism, production is fantastic and Isaiah flows perfectly on every track. Park is probably my favorite, but every song is incredible on this project. If he drops another album as good as this and CD he will be my favorite TDE member.

For some reason I haven't gone back to this album as much as I feel I should have. I have the same issue with Cilvia Demo for some reason as well. This is a great album to cruise to. I like every track on here but don't really have any standouts, probably from my lack of listens and the fact that I just space out and vibe to his music. Only song I don't like is AA, but that's only because it's the first song alphabetically and it automatically plays whenever I connect my phone to the car. I had to delete A.D.H.D. from my phone for the same reason. I started to hate the song from listening to the first 6 seconds too many times.
