I was really hyped for it especially after IYRT, but whole album feels all over the place. It was the time when Drake lost his sound and felt really flat and one dimensional. First listen was also one of the biggest let downs I have experienced. So given that I will give it 5/10.

bland musically. ton of it sounds like ASMR sleep music. even the bangers (Hype, 9, Pop Style) are super dull.

Drake sounds like he's on autopilot, a lot of the writing is cornier than ever (Chaining Tatum, Cheesecake, DM exes, etc etc etc.)

but there's def some standout s---. Keep The Family Close, One Dance, U With Me. but not enough to save the album

6/10 for me. Redemption top 5 simp record. Singles were good. Too good is great. Too many fluff records though. I still listen to about 8/9 tracks consistently

Horrendously written, the lyrics read like Recovery leftovers, and I’ll never forgive Drake for wasting a legendary p---- C verse on whatever that bs song was called. 2/10.

6.5 out of 10.

It was clear that it was a commercially driven album, but I think he missed on like a handful of songs. The singles were all great imo, even Child’s Play.

9/10(fight me)- I hated this album the first few listens and I considered it the worst album I’ve ever heard, but after listening to it a bunch of times, it’s really grown on me. I love pretty much every track except for Fire & Desire. I think this album has a really nice mix of singing and rapping, the production is nice, and the dancehall influence really shows how good Drake is at doing different styles and experimenting with new sounds.

R kelly n the gawd of rap shittin on u holy crap

was this even an album but? i thought it was more like a mixtape than anything.

Anyways, from memory it was like 3-4 trash as f--- never-listen again tracks among like 6 pusha T features, so it's an 8/10 album from me dawg.

Probably one of Kanye's weakest albums, he even admitted on radio that he wished he had put a lot more time and effort into this project. That being said there were still quite a few gems on this album that I really liked. I thought the first half of the album was brilliant, particularly the first 6 songs, then it finished off with the Dont Like Remix b-----r.

Would have to give this album a 8/10, I'd say it's actually quite underrated because it's only really compared with the rest of Kanye's excellent discography.

This album should have been better than what it was considering how good Kanye career-wise has been at finding the right artist for the right song. I'm echoing everyone here by saying the high points on this album (every single that came out of this one) are all stone-cold classics and show the massive potential this album could have carried when all cylinders were firing (2Chainz verse on Mercy, every d--- Ye & Pusha feat).

I think all of us were expecting an album full of GOOD Friday songs that oddly enough were so well put together despite the diversity, it was probably rushed and we never did get the Cruel Winter joint that I'm sure would have corrected the limp missteps on CS.
