This s--- sounds like Yellowcard on some trappy experimental beats, it's decent. not sure about a rating yet tho.

half the people posting blurbs with no ratings but I spose I'd rather have this problem than the usual one where people just post a rating and don't contribute anything lol

    7.5/10

Always heard his name jumping around when he was buzzing and still alive but never had the chance to get around to his music. Listening to this now felt a lot more powerful than I thought considering what tragically happened to him, the score doesn't really reflect how I was mesmerized by it in a vacuum.

The way Peep expresses his pain and despair is something else, while he is a bit raw and sometimes incoherent in his writing, it's a breathe of fresh air in what's becoming a crowded scene for emo/punk. One h--- of an ear for melodies too.

Remember this being talked about so i gave it a listen, loved it. Someone on here said it was like “trap blink-182 on xanax”, which is spot on. Listened to the album drunk once and s--- got deep.

Initial thoughts on this after ~12 or so hours are more positive than I expected. Peep was vocally pretty interesting and had an ear for production that complimented his sound. He wasn’t the strongest writer but there are a couple moments of quite effective honesty on here. Awful Things is a standout. I would call this an exciting show of potential if I’d heard it at the time, listening to it now just makes me sad at the waste of talent.

I first heard of Peep when Hellboy dropped and there were a handful of people here gassing him up so I tried listening. Though it was definitely unique, it wasn't really my thing so I never really gave him another chance until he released Benz Truck, which I think was the first Peep song that really clicked with me. So I ended up checking out COWYS and liking it, though as I said it's not really the type of music I usually listen to so it wasn't something I put on often. It's an album that's really grown on me in the last six months or so, and it's unfortunate that his music didn't really start to click with me until around the time of his death. It's concise, honest, and a great introduction to his music—and as Winter said the potential for him to get even better from here on out is truly sad.

6/10 after listening to it the past couple of days

i'm with @Big Cuntry in saying it's definitely not for me, but unlike him, i still don't f--- with it after giving him a chance. i respect what the dude put out though and it did help me understand his death a bit more. i can see why so many people liked it and were touched by his music.
