Dec 31, 2019 He was at least in the room during the d--- sessions, so there's a lot of speculation he helped Kendrick work on some new flows. The similarities between Kendrick's d--- flows and Keem's The Sound Of a Bad Habit and Die For My b---- flows are uncanny. EDIT: Also, allegedly Keem and Kenny are cousins, based on a now deleted post on Kendrick's little sisters twitter.

Dec 31, 2019 7.5/10 I love the vibe and the message but for me it has the least replay value out of the 3 Kenny's major albums.
Dec 31, 2019 A really grown album, you appreciate it more the older you get. These walls is the goat song. 9/10
Dec 31, 2019 TPAB - 7/10 imo. Liked it at first a lot but as with most concept albums, I find that the concept gets stale after a while so hasn't necessarily aged that well for me. Still love King Kunta though!
Dec 31, 2019 Knee deep in the Mexican countryside and with 3rd world internet connection, this post will probably take an hour to upload...but f--- it I ain't gonna be late to this party. Daytona: 8/10 This was an atomic bomb wrapped inside of a 7 song EP. Never before had I reacted to a song like IYKYK, I d--- near threw the sofas out the living room windows. It might have lost some of its luster, but like most of you good folks said, the highlights from this are as close to Clipse-era perfection we'll ever get from King Push. My Krazy Life: 9/10 I can't listen to this album without wrapping a red bandana like a young Juelz Santana. MKL was this decades evolution of Dre & Snoop's G-Funk, it practically set the tone for California's sound for the following years. It's sequenced to perfection and YG offered a grittier scope of the Compton streets to Kenny's more introspective GKMC. Mustard a d--- legend, dude can craft gangbanger anthems like this and f--- around and produce 1# pop hits like it was nothing. To p---- A Butterfly: 7/10 I'm not gonna deny the brilliance of Kendrick's most experimental writing and the bravery to tackle the themes he did, considering what was happening at the time in 2015. Truthfully the toast goes more to Thundercat, FlyLo & Co for creating the rich tapestry of funk/jazz that paid reverence to each respective genre. And yet, for an album as acclaimed as this was, it truly doesn't feel like a special album. It's experimental to a fault, Kendrick feels like he's forcing his writing and comes off as artificial at times. It's not a disaster nor a masterpiece to put it short, reminds me more of a Roots album but with a different tune. Phew, have a happy New Years fellas!
Dec 31, 2019 9.3/10 I've found myself falling in and out of love with this album over the journey. The concept is simple but the raps are dense. Love the instrumentation and, it's nostalgia setting in, but the rollout for this album was amazing. Bring back the s80 blog g.d. it. So many good pieces lost in the abyss. Anyway, I digress. Good album, steller album... outstanding even. Still not Kendrick's best though.
Jan 1, 2020 TPAB is a 9/10 and its not even Kendricks best Album of the decade. Salute to the future GOAT. This album was definitely a staple of the decade and will always be a staple of my favourite albums of all time
Jan 1, 2020 Trying to audition for P4K clearly I actually think that was the number s80 settled on when the review came out? His best is gkmc
Jan 2, 2020 TPAB gets a 8.22 out of 15 votes! Next up: Future - Honest Tracklist 1 Look Ahead 2 T-Shirt 3 Move That Dope (Ft. Pusha T, Pharrell Williams & Casino) 4 My Momma (Ft. Wiz Khalifa) 5 Honest 6 I Won (Ft. Kanye West) 7 Never Satisfied (Ft. Drake) 8 I Be U 9 Covered N Money 10 Special (Ft. Young Scooter) 11 Benz Friendz (Whatchutola) (Ft. Andre 3000) 12 Blood Sweat Tears 13 Big Rube Speaks 14 Side Effects 15 Ill Be Yours 16 How Can I Not (Ft. Young Scooter) 17 Sh!t 18 Karate Chop Ft. Lil Wayne (Remix) Future's 2nd studio album from 2014 has been my favorite Future project since I checked out his catalog a few years back. It contains like 3 or 4 top 10 Future songs for me. When HNDRXX dropped I had to put it as nr 2 but still. Look Ahead, Side Effects and I Be U are f---ing amazing. Kanye , Weezy , Pusha and the other guests do their thing and he even got Andre 3000 to feature on this for f---s sake. A little more 'poppy' maybe but to me, that's a good thing. 9/10 @RateThisAlbum
Jan 2, 2020 its crazy to me how this was considered a flop when it dropped (though given the standard of the music he dropped afterwards that might even be fair lol). Look Ahead is such an incredible opener, T-Shirt, s--- and Move That Dope and COVERED N MONEY are still some of Future's best slaps. I think this might have been one of the first time I heard Metro's production, I remember having Karate Chop on repeat. Its a strange part of Future's discography, not as sweet and sugary as Pluto but not as dark and clinical as DS2. Stilla great album, solid 8/10.
