    Struggled chosing either this or Channel Orange, but after that, Blonde just blows CO out of the water after a few relistens. Features Frank's most creative work, like Ivy, Pink + White, Seigfried, and Self Control. Deserves that 9.5.

    pretty much exactly this. Definitely not bad just never been into it like that. Similar to HNDRXX, there is some of Thugger's best music OAT on this, I just prefer the Barter 6/Slime Season era Thugger. I'd give it a 7/10, still solid af.

    look im not gonna lie this is in my lower tier of thug releases, its the first that never really clicked for me
    its not even bad, ive just never been into it like that
    i appreciate it for how creative it is in switching his styles
    Favourite songs: Relationship, Tomorrow Til Infinity, Family Don't Matter

    No one can rap like Thug, but even this takes that whole concept into another dimension. BTG has him probably at his most haphazard, Im always mesmerized at how much vocal range & elasticity this guy has. The airy production & live instruments here are so refreshing, reminds me of how much commercial potential he could have had with the right management. Regardless, BTG is infectious with good vibes and an entire armada of incomprehensible flows/cadences, your life will transform after you hear For Y'all & Feel It. Oh & Relationships the best Thug x Hndrxx song oat.

    Interesting, this is a new one for me but I do like different takes/learning something. I'd likely say it's deliberate raw effects to add a specific audio cue (say, Kanye's verse on Gorgeous, No.ID's drums on h--- Of A Life).

    Actually the mastering on MBDTF is notoriously bad and one of the only legitimate criticisms I have heard of this album

    My favourite album of all time. Everything that can be said has been said. This is Kanye at his very best. Phenomenal stuff. 10/10

    used to be my favourite album ever but i dont feel the same about it as i used to
    one of the things i love most about this album is that it embodies the same larger than life aspect that makes kanye so great
    my 3rd favourite kanye album
    Favourite songs: Devil in a New Dress, Runaway, Lost in The World, Gorgeous
    Least favourite: h--- of a Life

    The most overated rap album by a longshot. To keep it simple, some of the songs seem to drag & Ye doesn't seem to be putting more effort than his features do. Anyway I'll give it an 8.

    I would also say that was probably the worst Carter album of Wayne. Some tracks on this were really good and still got replay value but more than half of it, I haven't listened in a long time. I'd say this is 6.5/10

    I wouldn't say that this is terrible but it's definitely the worst of Tha Carter's. There are a couple of standouts like She Will, President Carter, that Interlude, How to Love, 6 Foot 7 Foot & that Outro (besides Shyne). The only problem is that most of the tracks have features on them, and most of them bypass Wayne. Don't tell me you're doing this French s--- too. John is just a Five Below version of I'm Not A Star and a lot of the punchlines can hit levels of how did you come up with this s---, in a bad way. Despite this, most of the highs bypass the lows, so I'll give this a 7/10.

    Obviously a classic with some absolutely unfathomably good songs on it, but saying that this isn’t my favourite Kanye album. It runs a bit long and having Late as the closer instead of Gone is a decision that confuses me to this day. Still, Gone, Diamonds Remix, Bring Me Down, Roses, Addiction, Drive Slow, and really the vast majority of the songs are masterpieces and apart from Crack Music there’s no other track I’d cut.

    Kanye's most epic album. Just slightly better than Dark Fantasy. Jon Brion and Warryn Campbell's work on LR will forever go down in history.
