Dec 17, 2014 Nah it's cringe worthy hip-pop done really badly. Relapse was the best album since his comeback. MMLP2 was definitely better than Recovery but not that great.
Dec 17, 2014 The difference is Justin is a pop artist. Eminem going from SSLP,MMLP etc. to Recovery was really awkward and hard to listen to. Also Space Bound makes the album horrible by itself.
Dec 17, 2014 Half the album was great, even had a few classics (Toy Soldiers, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird). The other half was one of the lowest points of his career. Em was untouchable at that time, and Encore was the first time we saw him fail, and fail hard. It's a shame cuz if Straight From The Lab never leaked it probably would've been a solid 8/10 album.

Dec 17, 2014 ^^ people be trolling hard in here vv rick rubin is like 90 brah. rhyme or reason doe recovery is a fantastic album to anyone who cares even a little because it represents him overcoming beiiing drugged ouuut alllll theee tiiime but recovery was also produced by like a dozen different people all over the country. welcome to our house and xv were produced almost entirely by em and most agree that that sounds better
Dec 17, 2014 One of the things that really bothers me about Recovery is how horribly mixed it is. Like honestly parts of it sound d--- near amateurish. Same with MMLP2...Love Game is the worst mixed song on any Eminem album ever.
Dec 18, 2014 Recovery is the worst album since his return imo. The production and mixing alone make it d--- near unlistenable the whole way through. Some good songs and verses no doubt, shame there's so few acapellas out there because some remixes could do the world of good.
Dec 19, 2014 Interesting. I remember Howard Stern calling him out on this back in 1999. Remember he talked like the ultimate wigger back in the day. Then referred to it on The Way I Am. Slowly, that accent went away. So was it a front the whole time? Or was it that he is now 15 years removed from living in the inner city?
Dec 19, 2014 Are you serious? I don't think it's as good as Hailie's Song but I think it's one of the best emotional tracks he's ever done. It's a rare gem from the Encore/Curtain Call era.
