Dec 19, 2014 I'm not even sure Mockingbird even rhymes. Awful awful song. You could tell that he was just recycling the same d--- Hallie's Song again and just mailing it in on this album.
Dec 19, 2014 I agree. They're both great but Hailie's Song is a Top 3 song by him all-time in my opinion, while Mockingbird is simply Top 3 on Encore.
Dec 19, 2014 I love the fact that Recovery is winning this poll. A year ago on SL it would've been a landslide victory for MMLP2.
Dec 20, 2014 Encore is a f---ing embarrassment. I don't care if The Way I Am was on it, nothing will make up for the absolute s--- that was on the middle of that album. Absolutely embarrassing. I'd much rather listen to Eminem's awkward accents/screaming/choppy flow/bad punchlines than the middle of that album. People overrate the good songs on Encore. None were classics.
Dec 20, 2014 Nah, was trying to say that even Eminem's best songs couldn't make up for how horrible Encore was, was just referring to The Way I Am. I think Encore's best songs are, at best, 8/10's.
Dec 21, 2014 I am torn. Relapse, Recovery and MMLP2 are all amazing albums. I enjoyed the h--- out of Recovery and to me on MY system it is a classic, along with Relapse. It also really put Eminem back on top. Yet people remember, when Recovery came out everyone loved it. Now some ppl hate it? Why? I thinnk because they listened to it so much cus Em took a while to release new s--- they started to hear every flaw and over-analyze it. Anyways. I think his best is either Relapse or Recovery since his come back. I love all 3 and imo Relapse and Recovery are both classics. idk about MMLP2 yet, I'll have too wait for more time to pass. I don't get how people say Recovery doesn't sound like an Eminem album. I am listening right now and it reminds me more of old Eminem doing what he wants and just the way it sounds than MMLP2, on MMLP2 he is trying way to hard to remind us of old s---. Anyways, yea.
Dec 21, 2014 That interview was so hilarious from what I can remember. Eminem was so unbelievably insecure. He erupted when a few of the callers called up and s--- on him. I remember thinking his responses were kind of funny though. "Go to work little boy. Go punch the clock." Funny but kind of pathetic they got under his skin as much as they did. He was genuinely upset. Edit- Also didn't Stern pretty much predict Eminem's addiction. I need to go back and watch that interview.
Dec 21, 2014 Relapse is the most interesting and MMLP2 the most consistent. Both are pretty bad overall tho. And f--- Recovery, such a boring and annoying album it's not even funny
