Jul 11, 2015 Holy f---ing s---. This is the baffling thing about Eminem's career since he has come back. The only way his albums ever get viewed as okay or decent or whatever is he just has to release a shittier f---ing album. Nobody appreciated Relapse until they saw how bad it could've been after we got Recovery. Everybody hated Recovery until we saw that he could do so much worse with MMLP2. Recovery, like almost all of modern Eminem is so incredibly mediocre that it's laughable that we all debate about his career anymore. Everything he has done, save a few verses after Relapse and songs like Deja Vu and Spacebound and the like, have all been equally disappointing and mediocre. Why does it take Em releasing a new album for everybody to see that? They're all the same f---ing quality people, and none of them are really that good.
Jul 11, 2015 Lets just accept that anything after TES just wasn't that good. There are gems here and there on each album but thats the thing, this is a guy who released three classics in a row. And all of his releases since than haven't been that great. A lot of it was downright terrible.
Jul 11, 2015 Recovery was greatest after his rehab, almost feel it was just the beginning of a more normal person very deep in him instead of drugs over his family and all of that stuff.Relapse was slim shady but with little less anger and don't get me wrong both mmlp 2 and relapse are excellent but recovery had that instant feeling with the emotion and anger.
Jul 11, 2015 Anyone over 14 could probably have made Recovery, the most bland, generic, pointless album he's ever made. Relapse and MMLP2 were bad, but at least you get the sense that only Eminem could have made them. Most of Recovery could have been a Macklemore album
Jul 11, 2015 After listening to all three back to back the other day, the "best" is certainly MMLP2 BUT It doesn't excuse the fact that most of the album is forgettable and lacks replay value My favorite one to listen to is without a doubt Recovery

Jul 11, 2015 one of the best post on this forum I have ever read,this need to be sticked on top of Eminem section, s much truth to it,couldnt have said it any better. We were all disappointed when relapse came out because we knew Eminem could do way better but after getting recovery and mmlp2 we kind of miss relapse lol.
