''MMLP is a classic, TES is fantastic, Encore didn't have the caliber to match it, a couple more years that s--- will be illmatic''

    almost a decade later and...

The features and songs themselves weren't even the problem for me (they were awful tho)

I just can't get over this voice he's been putting on the past year or so, it sounds like he's trying to speak in bold, underlined, and italics all at once. Painful on the ears.

Yeah I share this relatively unpopular opinion. It’s the only one since his hiatus that has truly felt like an “Eminem album.” That’s not to say it’s without its flaws, but it’s not a bad album. If I were to craft the ideal relapse album with refill and bonus tracks it’d be:

    1. Dr. West
    2. My Darling
    3. 3am
    4. My Mom
    5. Elevator
    6. Bagpipes from Baghdad
    7. Hello
    8. Same Song and Dance
    9. We Made You
    10. h--- Breaks Loose
    11. Medicine Ball
    12. Music Box
    13. Stay Wide Awake
    14. Must Be the Ganja
    15. Forever
    16. Careful What You Wish For
    17. Mr. Mathers
    18. Deja Vu
    19. Beautiful
    20. Drop the Bomb On Em

And that right there is a pretty solid album consisting of a nice balance of the Relapse theme and other tracks mixed in, and less pointless skits. If only that’s what he put out instead.

I wonder what Fantano thinks about this album tbh. Not that I value his opinion much.
