Jul 4, 2015 well he lied lol. listen to his voice on my darling and careful what you wish for. it's his raspy druggy voice we heard in his hiatus songs and songs on Re Up. and the hook on Careful What You Wish For resembles the hook on The Apple. same style, same effects on the vocals
Jul 4, 2015 Going through changes, space bound, talkin 2 myself >>>>>> those you just mentioned including bad guy if you are going to bring that up next
Jul 4, 2015 I'd say Brainless > Groundhog Day > LTWYL > 25 To Life > Rhyme or Reason, but that's just me. maybe switch 25TL with Rhyme or Reason, idk
Jul 4, 2015 Not the point, you said NO song from any album after Recovery could top Recovery as a whole, and that's wrong.
Jul 4, 2015 Replay value is everything. I could listen to MMLP, TES, SSLP all day and meanwhile his below part albums like Encode and MMLP2 I can only go to for a few songs
Jul 4, 2015 Rhyme or Reason was literally a sample on repeat and little to no alteration. The Zombies are to thank for that lol
Jul 4, 2015 Also 25 to Life had a lot of soul to it. He was mad. And I loved the message. The whole song you would think it's about a girl but it's really about hip hop itself
Jul 4, 2015 But those verses are incredible it makes up for it, especially the 2nd verse, one of his best.
Jul 4, 2015 Well i think he got better on bringing his emotion through a song like gtc 25 to life and others, some beats got are way worse than some on relapse tho, lyrically he got better but that's my opinion. So he got better since relapse but still needs to adjust himself sometimes
Jul 4, 2015 I always felt 25 to life was overlooked. Great song. Yeah the beat is a little poppy but the song itself is great
Jul 4, 2015 So far id put him on an upward trend. I still dont like the new double time style and the mixing but for a few songs it works like knd. It reminds me of the accent a few songs like stay wide awake etc. It worked and others it just was either an overkill or didnt fit.
Jul 4, 2015 A little poppy is an understatement. That could've been the beat to a Justin Bieber song and I would've believed it
