Jul 4, 2015 Definite uptrend. Recovery the obvious highpoint but you can't f--- with his work ethic. He seems to be putting out more material post hiatus than pre. Law of logic suggests there will naturally be more duds the more material is put out. I'm perfectly happy with a steady stream of music from him and expecting some crap and taking the great songs where I can.
Jul 4, 2015 give me album with production similar as in Relapse album and good lyrics with normal voice.
Jul 4, 2015 i remember when taking my ball leaked, i was so hyped. This production... yup stay wide awake is also perfect. when dre said right on time (phenomenal video), i hope he meant that all album will produced by him.
Jul 4, 2015 At first I would've said MMLP2 was is high point, but it's lost almost all it's replay value. I think of he did te whole album as a sort of sequel to the first MMLP like the first 3 songs were (bad guy being a sequel to Stan, parking lot and rhyme or reason following up criminal) it could've been a really dope sequel. But instead he just threw a bunch of pop/rock garbage to fill in the rest and put the rest of the good tracks on the bonus disc. But there were improvements on recovery overall, such as less yelling, less forced corny punch lines, and more of his own production. He still had to work with Rihanna too which annoys me. Shady xv was a mixed bag with em at his worst with his worst possible flow (shadyxv) but then bright spots such as possibly the two most personal tracks since recovery (fine line and gof) along with stellar verses on psychopath killer and vegas. Southpaw so far seems to be a step in the right direction for him, with phenomenal and KND both being good tracks. But honestly, if there is another em album (which there most likely is) it'll most likely be as inconsistent and divisive as the rest if his post hiatus work.
Jul 4, 2015 Eminem kills almost every Dre beat. My god if he produced his next album that would be the only hope imo.
