The element that made them so good (being completely different people) didnt even have a presence on the album, good thing we have the old stuff from the 90's. If the original version of renegade that the finished beat & was mixed & mastered, id honestly prefer it over the released version. No problem, im just happy people are interested in this stuff, some dude signed up specifically for me to send him this stuff lol
Jun 12, 2015 Yeah it's a great thing we have those tracks from the 90's. With your remasters now the two tracks sound new making them even more enjoyable. Not that the released one isn't good but that original Renegade beat was f---ing great! Also I've never felt Jay's verses were as good as Royce's or did the song justice but not much we can do about the original never being finished unfortunately. Sometimes I listen to it over the finished version anyway. And I'm not shocked he signed up to get a link, its great work and deserves the appreciation its getting.
