I'm counting solo only so hts is out. And mmlp2 yes. The fans sort of hounded recovery for the simplicity it showed when compared to his other albums and the yelling all the time and the overly corny punchlines. For the most part that's all gone on mmlp2. And as far as simplicity he completely erased that by putting on a technical showcase on mmlp2

yeah but it didnt feel like he made mmlp2 bcus of the criticism of the fans. i guess it started with hts that his s--- got more technical and less corny. recovery also got pretty good reviews and he got his hype back, not afraid and ltwyl were everywhere back in 2010

I love recovery in the sense that it was so relevant. It's the only album post hiatus that really got a lot of recognition.. It was a missed opportunity at a classic in my eyes. Take away some of those annoying things like yelling and drop one or two bad songs and that album is very good-classic for me. Same goes for relapse. Mmlp2 grows more and more for me simply because of the sheer amount of talent the guy has to write the way he does. It's mind blowing, however I don't like the post hts flow 90% of the time. For me it seems like em always does something annoying or dumb to drop his albums from an A to a B-

Don't get me wrong they're amazing from a technical standpoint. It's actually kind of hard to understand when you break it down.

He's so far ahead of everyone in that regard, he can just write and flow any way he wants I just didn't love the sound of it.
