Nas, Jay, Snoop, 50, Wayne, Kanye, Em, Kendrick, Drake, Nicki, and few more

hopefully this act as a waking call for marshal (kind of like between relapse/recovery) but in reverse this time.

I know im dreaming but one can hope that it will give him the motivation to call jeff bass and try to get some of the former magic back with old flow and peak period type beats.

I know what I think about now but I really wish some of these younger posters knew just how big rappers like Eminem, Nelly and 50 Cent were in 02 and 03 respectively. If you take Drake at the absolutel apex of his popularity it's merely just a fraction of how big these guys were.

Sold 7 mil records+ and has one of the greatest albums of all-time across all genres. He's definitely a megastar in the tim duncan sense. People know who he is. Doesn't mean they listen to him like that.

Im not even sure if revival will go platinum in the us. theres always around 50% drop between 1st and 2week number( with the drop getting bigger and bigger afterward).

Drake is way bigger than Nelly ever was. Country Grammar was huge but his following albums weren't anywhere near as big. But Em overall is bigger than all of them

Ur bugging hard. Drake in 2011 was god of rap. That year is up there with Em in 02, 50 in 03, and Wayne in 08. Yall forget how massive drake is for rnb right now too and rnb is rap's sister.

He fell off hard though, his megastar status is gone. That's like calling Madonna a megastar, now she's just some washed up old lady who made popular music a long time ago.

I wouldn’t call Nas a mega star. I get that he’s considered a goat but I’ve been places, and ppl be like who that
Edit s--- I wouldn’t even call Kendrick a mega star either
