If you weren't a kid/teenager in 2011 though can you really understand how much of an impact he had to the kids growing up in that time though? It's different than being an adult just watching the rap game. Drake was played at every house I ever went to, every car I was in, they even played that s--- on the speakers at my school.

I'm 21 and I'm well versed in rap. If Em dominated so badly why do more artists pay homage to Hov than Em? Wayne even said "I'm the best rapper alive, since the best rapper retired". That wasn't for Em. That was for Hov. Hov had a hotter crew in rap at the time. The streets listened to Hov more than they did Em. Plus you heard him on the radio more than Eminem.

50 put Kanye over in the end, u gotta give him credit for doing the job

Em lost his smile and came back when it was convenient for himself and buried the new school

If streaming didn't exist, Drake probably would've sold as much or at least been close to selling as much as Em when he dropped MMLP and TES

I agree. I loved Nelly. I liked that album for the most part and love Dilemma as well but Drake was bigger

Lmaoo I'm cryin. People gonna sit here and tell me Hov wasn't one of the hottest rappers from 99-03? Who was influencing rap culture more? Who set more trends? I'm not saying Em wasn't dominant but to act like Em didn't have competition that was even comparable is laughable. Especially when not every demographic played Eminem. Every demographic played Hov.

Don't give a s--- about sales. Things like the Castle/Arose outro and Revival Interlude show more artistic input than anything since Recovery

biggest =/= greatest. Never said that. And I've said Eminem is bigger now than Drake. And Drake calls every legend like that he respects the goat or a goat.

I agree with that. I bumped Country Grammar like everyone else. Just think that Drake's been way more successful. He also doesn't invite under aged girls on to the stage for creepy serenades
