He's #12 of any genre but #1 of rap, I bet if there ever will be one it'll be in the next 10 years since hip hop is bigger than it's ever been, probably a white sellout similar to Logic or Post Malone

Especially since they're changing sales to including youtube views or whatever billboard is starting to do in January

People forget how big Nelly was. He was more popular than both 50 + Jay during their primes, and as popular as Drake is today. Eminem is probably the only rapper who eclipsed Nelly in terms of popularity

50 went 8x platinum in 03 and revived gangsta rap. He also had the hottest crew in rap and made Hov retire. He cornered the market. Nelly doesn't even scratch the surface relative to what 50 did in 03.

You was 6 when eminem dropped the Eminem Show in 2002 so yeah case closed drake was no where near that level ever. Em had a number 1 album, single that stayed at number 1 for 12 weeks straight, number 1 movie, and soundtrack. What did drake do in 2011 that compares?
