Dec 24, 2017 It’s this, 4yrs wait + non mainstream singles + dissed half of the stupid American population. Of course it flopped
Dec 24, 2017 Marshall Mathers LP2 had 792k in the first week, more than Recovery, he could've had a great run after that, but he put out projects like Shady XV, Southpaw which were average at best. Alienates his supporters just for having a different political opinion He says he listens to newer music and yet puts an album that sounds outdated in the first listen. One f----- up move after another, you can't take this s--- for granted forever. Either this or his time is up
Dec 24, 2017 You'd think, but look at what happened after Relapse. The world pretty much acted as if it ever happened and called Recovery his comeback after a long hiatus... The same could happen for the next album and the sales could be right back on track. All it takes is a bit of promotion, a couple of critics heralding the comeback of our rap god and he is pretty much back to where he was.
Dec 24, 2017 Another What? Bad album? That's a matter of opinion surely? I enjoyed recovery, relapse and mmlp2 when others didn't. He has made s--- before. Remember fack and that's song about bananas?
Dec 24, 2017 Blaming eminem or thinking he’s irrelevant is r-----ed it has nothing to do with him and everything to do with how the album was promoted. It seems like they litetally got lazy as f--- and said “we’ll do a couple of post on social media and that’s it” this will for sure light a fire under him and if not at the very least no way will the label or Paul or even eminem say “yeah I think what’s best is I take another 4 year break that’ll help” anyone who thinks he’s gonna retire because of this is a f---ing weirdo.
Dec 24, 2017 Album had material that would’ve been his best singles with Believe River and Nowhere Fast or Like Home (even though I don’t like the song it would’ve been real big)
Dec 24, 2017 And the fact that all these big magazine interviews and videos came after the f---ing album is r-----ed as well
Dec 24, 2017 The drug ads had everyone interested. Nobody expected walk on water how it was. If that wasn't a lead single and just and album track everyone would of loved it.
Dec 24, 2017 Yeah that’s the crazy part the amount of people that liked his pictures is crazy compared to the amount of albums he sold
Dec 24, 2017 This is a great result. Well, it could be. If this makes them drop the pop features, promote the next album more and lights a fire under Em then this has all been for a good cause.
Dec 24, 2017 Relapse Recovery MMLP2 and Revival all sound nothing a like or at the very least Recovery and Revival sound a little alike sound wise since they’re more pop but nothing alike lyrically and content wise. I think the only way to go from here is a full fledge rap album and hopefully produced by Dre. I really didn’t realize how much I want him to do a full story telling album again until now.
