Feb 17, 2015 i do not like to go against other mods decisions...esp someone i respect like you...you probably top 3 in term of people i respect in this forum...however 1- it is not the mod job to protect the look of the "bloggers"...if a blogger wants to be professional, he can by not being unprofessional..super easy 2- me and hasbro already said policing threads will not be part of s80...ofc we dont want the place to chaotic, this is why we only have one rule regarding posts...if a member been warned multiple times about derailing threads..you can start deleting it...not before....ofc spam should be deleted by default forums that police posts is by far the most piece of s--- sites and i dont want us to come close to them....thankfully this is the only instance we had so far so we good i am sorry but i undeleted the posts to prove a point
Feb 17, 2015 @Koolo I totally feel you, and no worries about reversing my decision - I kinda regretted deleting all the posts after I did because I just got pissed off in the moment, but since someone had already responded, I left 'em like that. It wasn't my intention to police anyone, but I can see why it could come off that way. I know it isn't the same everywhere (sometimes I forget people aren't all from a place as liberal as I am), but where I'm from, someone saying "disgusting fa----s" would be viewed in almost the same light as someone saying "disgusting n-----s." One of Hasman's rules was no racism, which I felt extended to no bigotry in general. But I'll keep that in mind about deleting posts. I think the only other time I've deleted posts that weren't spam or DL links was when CSW randomly came into a thread about travis scott and started talking about Eminem to piss off narsh and I didn't want skippy's thread to get ruined.

Feb 19, 2015 I fully agree with @BigCountry on treating hate speech equally. Thinly veiled racism and homophobia are not the type of content this board aims to cultivate. Especially lazy one offs. It's not censoring an opinion. It's censoring an ignorant and unintelligent way of expressing that opinion.
