    Very sad. God only knows how many kids he inspired. Specifically black youth in the ghettos. So f--- the guy saying this isn't worthy of mourning. If anything i feel if he may of been token for granted his overall legacy off the court.

    I don’t feel sad all the time because people die. Obviously people die every minute. Sometimes I feel sad when I hear about someone dying such as a 40 year old and their child. Feeling sad isn't the same as bawling your eyes out. It can be a momentary reaction.

    I don’t even have a personal attachment to him as a player. It makes me sad that someone and their daughter died. That’s a pretty normal human reaction.

    Even so lots of people form attachments to musicians, athletes, actors etc. They may not know them personally but when you’re invested in someone’s career it can be very sad because that person’s art or whatever may have helped get them through tough times or in the case of an athlete it can feel like a piece of your childhood is gone if you grew up watching them. It’s not “goofy” to feel sad that someone died lol. So you’re telling me that if Eminem died you wouldn’t care and you’d think it was “boring and goofy” when people were mourning his loss?
