    Colonization, the legacy of slavery and jim crow laws, institutionalized racist policies, red lining neighborhoods, prison pipeline systems (otherwise known as the prison industrial complex), eurocentric curriculums, the removal of fathers from black communities through increased rates of arrests and racial profiling, generational trauma, the willie lynch letter, the war on drugs, the systematic economic castration of black and brown people... all of this contributes to and creates an environment of inescapable scarcity in inner cities. Scarcity, meaning when your basic needs as a human being aren't met, leads to violence. In addition, white owned record labels (UMG, Warner, Sony, Interscope, Vivendi, etc.) then normalize black death through perpetuating toxic messaging in the artists they choose to capitalize off of. How often do people listen to music about "n----s killing n----s"... its everywhere. People don't think anything of it. These labels deliberately choose to amplify these voices and messages which contribute to the normalization of "n----s killing n----s". The consumption of Black trauma becomes a lucrative entertainment industry within itself - anyway, black on black crime is directly caused by the preexisting scarcity in these cities which only exists in the first place due to institutionalized racism. Do not forget what world we live in.

    Because when a famous person dies, a lot of people act like they were that person's biggest fan. I'm making it clear that I wasn't a fan, not to be disrespectful but to be honest. I've seen memes that have addressed that fact like the Willy Wonka meme about dead celebrities. It's not hard to understand.

    I would NOT be surprised at ALL if a few rappers stepped up and helped push the documentary.
