    rap skill? just an example from your list and one that isn’t a trap artist as that’s obv an easy target but yeah they’re incomparable in reality, they’re both polar opposites in what they try to achieve musically but ppl will still love to use rappers like kanye against royce even tho they don’t align in any way

    If this was Lupe vs Mickey Factz there wouldn’t even be a thread on this site. The reason for this thread is the same reason we have threads for artists like Yelawolf, Obie Trice, and 50 Cent in 2021. Let’s not bury our heads in the sand lol

    Sada literally is friends with them lol and from the same area. The US don’t f--- with them. They were petitioned out of the half time show in Detroit one year: they s---. @Michael Myers

    and Gucci Mane is a better artist and rapper than Royce. Everything thinks technical ability is everything lol he can rhyme words, so can I and the other netcees on here. If he was truly nice, Detroit would talk about him more. Detroit doesn’t care about him or Em (they respect him however). I know y’all love Royce but he rly is one of the least popular rappers we could discuss. Doesn’t have a body of work or anything like that worth talking about. :S it’s like faux-conscious rap and it’s dumb as f---.

    I don't mind them at all tbh. I think most people that are saying this don't even listen to their music. Or it's just me who hasn't any taste lol

    Royce def has technical skills…but for me then it’s like what do you do with those technical skills? If you ain’t making good music with it, who cares? It’s same with Kanye these days. He’s still a good producer, but if he isn’t making good music with those skills, who cares?

    Prime Gucci is one of the greatest lyricists of all time if we’re being honest but a big chunk of people will cry at that statement because he doesn’t fit into the box they have that defines a “good” lyricist. People like Gucci and Thug really aren’t that different from Ghostface and MF DOOM (and all four are some of the greatest rappers of all time and top 25 list worthy). They deal in more free association and abstraction. They have really unique minds in terms of the way their brain makes connections and it shows in their music.

    I only know a few songs. Not special, but fine. I remember liking Rockstar like 10 years ago. But @antmans attitude acting like they s--- because he said so is kinda disrespectful imo
