May 4, 2018 Yeah? The bar actually makes sense..... He's saying that he talks alot of s--- on the mic. Perfectly meaningful wordplay. Because either you willingly allow yourself to get stuck up on the word poop, or your brain is too shallow to appreciate the meaning behind it because he used to word "poop". Music is mean't to be a type of art you know. You bitching about the word "poop" makes you sound less mature than you think you are.
May 4, 2018 Always confused me how people don't see Em being cringe as something he (sometimes) uses to his strength. So far is still one of the best tracks post hiatus. Musically and creatively.
May 4, 2018 I mean people forget that Em used to rap about: gay sex in the closet with dre raping your mom in the a--- a fat ugly whor- fing--ing herself to gay p---. spitting into people's onion rings Among other things. Why is "poop" such a big deal lol?
May 4, 2018 Then I'm cuttin' you from your mother's womb Then I'm flushin' you powerful pooping, a parody of rivers ending, flushing his rapper children down the toilet. great stuff.
May 4, 2018 I can understand that. I wasn't feeling it because it's too serious and not playful enough. Second half is good with the humour but he needs more hard hitting potty jokes. I was looking forward to something like "remind me." Just effortless flow, funny jokes, and a fun beat.
May 4, 2018 listening to this again, Em's verse actually starts off really well. But it just goes on for way too long. The battle raps were all cool and all but then he starts talking about tampons and pooping and its time to hit skip. Sounds like a step in the right direction but still trying way too hard. Cutting the verse down to a regular 16 bars might have been one of his best verses in recent memory.
May 4, 2018 I think maybe he writes while shi--ing a lot. So it’s always on his mind like. What rhymes with poo?
May 4, 2018 Why are you even trying to justify Em's poop bars when anyone who didn't like those lines the first time isn't magically gonna see the light and start appreciating it lol? Those lines were bad and completely unnecessary, could have been avoided, now get over it.
May 4, 2018 Listened to this track about 4 times while travelling. I gotta say Royce outdid Eminem on this. I won't even be surprised if I'll like the Logic remix better than the original. I really hate the way Em chopped the beat for his verse. Sometimes it was on the best parts where I feel like the context of what he's saying and the intensity would have been better if he kept that f---ing kick in the song and didn't just completely mute the beat for 2 seconds. All in all, this again brings me to believe that Eminem is a great lyricist, but a horrible musician. It's like he has no ear for what sounds good anymore.
May 4, 2018 This is my favorite Eminem verse since Vegas, probably his most pleasing to hear since Forever. This f---ing awesome beat does him so many favors too. Royce is also surprisingly decent as a singer.
May 4, 2018 Btw this forced outrage over poop lines itt totally comes off as snarky and pseudo intellectual. Come on guys every single rapper has poop lines, yall take yourselves too seriously
May 4, 2018 No, he's saying that people acts like if Eminem rapping about disgusting things is something new, when is something that he has done in his whole career.
May 4, 2018 Exactly. It's not like he's just talking about poop for the sake of talking about poop, he's riffing on his nickname (Doodie), and the fact that he's always shi--ing on the mic cuz he's that dope; because he is, in fact, da s---. Those who are unable to appreciate this wordplay simply cuz they get hung up on a word they consider grade-school are truly missing out. It's rather immature, too...more immature than rhyming with poop metaphors, in fact! lol
