I've gone through 4 pairs this year already. I always wear them at the gym and then a lot of times my friends will hit me up to ball and I won't have extra shoes on me so I end up balling in them and ripping em up.

    :lmaooo: great story

I buy Nike running shoes 1-2 times a year at the Nike outlet here and they're great. I get like $80 pairs for $35-40 since they're last seasons' pairs. They always last me 250-350 miles though, love em.

Cool, so just nikes. No particular model or anything. I'll look around. Loved how comfortable the roshes were so i was looking for something like that but designed more for actual running.

Yeah actually I just checked my app, and I have the specific model names - right now I have the Downshifter 6 which I just got a few weeks ago, they're good. Before that I got the Flex Experience RN twice in a row. Those were great but they didn't have them at the outlet this time around. Good luck!

You can never go wrong with some Nike Frees. I've had my eye on the Adidas Ultra Boosts, heard nothing but good things.

Ive developed an on-off relationship with long distance running lately. Ive noticed if i run regularly, say 2 - 3 times per week, for longer than a couple months my left kneee starts flaring up. Its super annoying but when I feel the pain coming on I just quit running

But yea i just quit running for a little while and start up when i feel that itch to run again.
I was getting some of the best times ive had in a few years tho. Was running 2 - 3 miles every other day and regularly averaging 7 - 7:30/mi. Im taking a break now but ill be getting back on it soon

    Hey, welcome back.

Mine's going pretty well. Just ran my last run before my race on Sunday. Just a 3 mile run but it went well. How has your running been?

I haven't posted in awhile. I did a 7 day run this past July around Mont Blanc. It was the UTMB circuit. Total was about 110 miles with 30 feet total elevation up and down. It was the experience of a lifetime. If anyone is interested in doing or wants to see pictures of the beautiful Alps holla at a brother

Dude, I feel you on the long distance and knee issues. It's such a MFer. You want to keep going and increasing the distance, push yourself but have to be smart about it or know you'll end up hating yourself for when you cant get out at all because it's gotten too bad. Hope you're enjoying the break and are able to get back into some PRs when you're back running =)

Oh good luck! Hope it's a great run, perfect weather conditions and you finish with a good time! Your missus running with you or you going it alone?

My running has been alright, ended up reaching / passing some distances goals / times so was pretty pleased about that but have taken the past two weeks off as I've moved country so am just having a bit of a life readjustment. Will have to start running in a gym for the most part though which is pretty devastating but at least it'll be warm and safe =p

Wow, that amazing, def post some pics!!

Thank you :) The weather will be nice, about 75 F, and it will be at night time on the Vegas strip so it should be awesome. And yep my wife is running it as well!

Sounds like you're doing well, keep it up! I know it's hard to adjust to running on a treadmill, every summer here I have to get used to it again and it can s--- sometimes. Good luck!
