Where I said that he cares? He clearly doesn’t care about them sending them to their deaths for his political goals and posturing. Also you can tell just by looking at how an average Russian lives and that large number of them doesn’t even have electricity, etc. all while Putin and his mafia funnels Russian money offshore. The thing is I don’t think military will obey that order it will end in a coup imo.

My mate who has family in Russia reckons they've blocked all western websites basically and there's rumours in Russia atm the crazy muslim-russian oligarchy thing (I forget what it's called) that's in power under Putin are disappointed with the slow results and want to take over. She said one of the dudes who potentially takes over power if it happens has called for nuclear strikes in the past, this time he'll be able to push the button himself, in theory

I truly hope not... but man it's like if your in that position surely you'd know that arming civilians or fortifying civi buildings with real troops causes mass confusion. I've been seeing a lot of vids and such circle round here and there where people are like "is this Ukraine and are you Ukraine?" "Umm will you s---t if I answer honest?" "No, we are lost" and it turns into a 45 min argument between 2 Russian troops for example. Then vids of Ukrainians who are like 'our territory here is safe atm, no warfare, but due to the government handing out ak 47s to regular citizens for defence I am worried they will s---t or rob me before Russians get anywhere near here"

Like super f----- up situation. I agree arming your people and "helping" them defend their homeland during an invasion is the logical option... but also see the civis now being targets etc. And it's war if someone points a gun at your mate (comrade in this case) and your guns pointed at them, fire first, figure s--- out later kind of. It's your mate.

Like if I was in the same situation best beleive I'm getting that free AK. But I know I won't be a dickhead with it and s--- I'd be lying if I said there wasn't maybe 1 or 2 people on earth I'd consoder shooting and then take vids of like "omg the invaders got them!"

I don't know how I feel morally for example, but I know for a God d--- fact the Geneva convention is going absolute ape s--- at this situation at both sides right now

I've never heard the world saying the Americans should fu*k off right back to US from
- Yugoslavia
- Iraq
- Afghanistan
- Libya
- Syria

And yeah, from their bases hosting their nuclear weapons in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium....

And no one said that Americans should fu*k off right back to US from the nearest points from Russia...Instead they have choose to keep arming the second biggest Europe country for 8 years in preparation of new proxy war in Donbas and Lugansk, right at the the Russians front door!
So yeah, Putin may be the aggressor right now, he is the evil one, but the whole thing is culmination of Americans never been able to just fu*k right back to America for fu*king decades.

Jesus there are literally kids and thousands of people dying and tik tok/social media from America is full with idiots crying because a bunch of black people waited more hours in line to leave the country, which eventually they did, safely and note that they weren't the only ones waiting people from Poland waited as well, Indians as well and so on but eventually everyone left the country and no one was harmed.

They just cry and claim racism cause why black people had to wait that much in line and some Americans they said Ukraine deserves what is happening and everyone in the comments are treating this matter like its the end of the world, how could a country that is at WAR dare not leave everything aside and not lay down a red carpet for black people to run from the country they benefited from and took advantage from its resources and now once that country is down, they are the first to get way.

I struggle to understand the way some Americans are thinking and how their logic works but is very very hard.

Well, I would say the majority of us think that Putin has exaggerated, and that Russian response is not proportional and rational one... No one expected full invasion, we were sure he will enter DNR and LNR. place his forces there, prevent Ukraine from direct offensive, and maybe do the same thing like with Crimea.
So, rare ones are supporting this move because the most of us always thought he can handle the West with better geopolitical moves and military moves like he did to save Assad for one.

On the other hand, we have no love lost for the NATO.. And for us NATO is the US... We are surrounded with NATO countries, but still we don't look at them as NATO ones, nor we feel surrounded in some military way... They are just neighbors, even if we had fair share of war with some of them, but people here and now are just sick from the idea of war.

So, beside that, any US intervention in the world we felt quite emotionally and couldn't comprehend where and when is the end, why for the love of God they just don't back off from "spreading democracy" and will ever someone stood to them.

And now we have it, we see this as Russia finally trying to put the end at decades US-led hegemony and their ideas of destabilizing countries and provoking conflics.

But again, this way is not what we were hoping for, not the one we were expecting. And people are just praying for the war to end...
