May 15, 2016 Both albums are trash though. Eminem is very technical but dude is a terrible songwriter.
May 15, 2016 Also everybody around me saying gkmc is a hip hop classic and tpab a musical classic but I'm afraid to listen to these... I heard mbdtf which was just as acclaimed as these albums and it was trash. I heard section 80 and it was trash.
May 15, 2016 which explains why he is hailed as the greatest lyricist of all time you know stan, lose yourself, legacy, space bound. Terrible songs terrible song writing
May 15, 2016 because he is able to freely express his emotions without sacrificing a rhyme in any of the lines. He makes great use of metaphors and pun's , he uses subtle references and sometimes creates complex figurative devices from multiple lines in a song instead of one liners. His vocabulary has been listed as the largest in all of music (not just rap). He won all of his grammies almost exclusively because of his writing abilities and not so much because of his technique and flow
May 15, 2016 space bound is bad as the production is completely flat, the acoustic guitar is lifeless, the drums have no real punch to them, em's voice is absolutely terrible on the song, whatever control he had of his voice in the early 2000's he's lost since then. also a pretty bad hook too. just bland as s---. and legacy? slightly better but beat is not very good and em's voice is just g.d. annoying, so even if he had any good lines they're lost to that garbage disposal he calls a voice
May 15, 2016 have you forgotten that technique and flow are literally two of the most important things in rap? more important than lyrics? i dont want to go to Marshall Mather's Technical Whirlwind Circus, I want some good songs which Eminem has failed to give me in quite some time. his voice sucks, his beats s---, and his flows are recycled and boring, whatever life his music used to have is now extremely small to non-existant
May 15, 2016 yeah, that might be true , but this is what you said. eminem will do s-----y accents on s-----y beats with s-----y production value, but he's arguably the best writer ever in this genre. The best you could do is argue that he is tied with nas i advise you to actually listen to his songs
