Nov 9, 2016 I think also another somewhat big reason Obama won a second term was because the gop nominee was god awful Romney. He was a pretty weak nominee, and never had the same momentum that Obama had. I'm not saying if the gop had a stronger nominee that Obama wouldnt have won a second term, but it would've helped the gop's chances.
