    tbh s80 still my second favorite dot project after tpab, doesn't matter if its a mixtape or an indie album

    The difference between an album and a "mixtape" with all original production/songs is negligible, if not non-existent. It's an album.

    Pretty much this though I'd add that artist in strict label deals can show off their creative freedom on mixtapes, at times.
