Of course I see faults in Hillary. She is a horrible public speaker.

She has said a ton of non PC things... things that would help Trump... but hurt her because of the scrutiny she is under.
Her involvement with Walmart troubles me... seeing I have had a lifelong boycott against them.

She could stand to be more protectionist in her trade policy... and wish she was as Pro Union as John Edwards was in 2008.

She lost her looks over the last decade and a half and that hurts her in this country and day and age.

She is by far and away the most qualified of the choices left and her being President won't hurt America.

This election cycle feels like that moment in The Hateful Eight where the black guy and the racist team up to hang the woman.

Most of Trump's supporters are racists who don't want to see a woman be President. Really no other reason to support him.

Genuine question to the trump supporters: how do you rationalize looking past his blatant racist and sexist tendencies?

...Not here to stir up an argument or debate, but I'm just trying to understand the mentality...even if it's "I don't think he's racist/sexist", or "my views are in line with his".

Unemployment has been cut in half since he entered office... America was losing 800,000 jobs a month when he took over, now we are gaining 250,000 jobs a month...
The stock markets have all more than doubled since he has assumed office.

They're were 2 quigmires of wars raging when he entered office and Usama bin Laden was alive and well in Pakistan, plotting his next attack... Pakistan was a country that was considered off the table by the Bush administration and John McCain (who campaigned on never going into Pakistan and staying in Iraq for 100 years)...
Pakistan is also the country where we killed the leader of the Taliban last week.

What are these "new host of other issues that Obama has created" in your alternative reality you live in?
Did he make you stub your toe on your bed?

But you understand that it wouldn't be, right? You'd be voting for the Republican nominee.

First of all: this is not the general election thread. I'm not making this with the intention of following the campaigns, or even debating the merits of the two candidates. By all means, tear each other apart as is our tradition, but that's not what this is about.

I just want to take a simple straw poll of the board, two months out from the conventions, of where everyone stands. If you had to vote for one of them today, who would you pick?

I'm making the poll anonymous, but feel free to state your reasoning.
