Jun 1, 2016 Clearly a Trump or Bernie cult would be so much better than a Clinton cult. I mean, can anyone doubt that?
Jun 1, 2016 A year and a half in and Res has certified himself as the GOAT poster of S80 by a really wide margin.
Jun 1, 2016 Now, if we build the wall, we cannot assume zero illegal immigration, but what is a fair number to assume for the decrease in illegals? By 80%? 90%? Do people really think it's 99%? Then what is the outcome? Do we see an increase in the cost of our foods and services? How often are illegals being used so the goods I consume stay at a low cost? Will the entire grocery store see an increase in cost? I pay a white guy to mow my lawn and that is under the table the same as if it was a Mexican. Also, I live in Florida so I BARELY care about illegal immigration. Even more so because I am college educated and make a healthy salary with no fear of an illegal taking my job. I welcome the idea of paying cheaper rates for basic labor. Why would I want to have my tax dollars pay for a wall??? Shouldn't the states on the boarder be paying for their issue?
Jun 2, 2016 That minor potential Earth ending issue? He must have been high off his a--- on anti-stupid pills.
Jun 2, 2016 Everyone pays for border security... We have already spent $3.4 billion on a border fence.. not a wall a fence. We have 21,500 border patrol officers. 20,000 ICE agents. Unmanned drones that protect the border. And we deport 400,000 people a year. This is none issue... see my "Trump bringing jobs to America" thread in this sxn for more details and logic.
Jun 2, 2016 This is rich, coming from a woman who signed off on (and still supports) drone strikes based on metadata in countries where we haven't declared war. Get the f--- out of here.
Jun 2, 2016 Our last drone strike killed Mullah Mansour leader of the Taliban. Our nuclear strike killed 400,000 people. Do you see the difference?
Jun 2, 2016 Yes, it's pretty obvious maths. 1 drone = 1 taliban 1 nuke = 400,000 taliban. the difference is 399,999 dead or alive talibans
Jun 3, 2016 "Our last drone strike" was not in 2013. We use them routinely (as recently as two weeks ago), based on notoriously unreliable intel. And they usually don't k--- their intended targets. Even when they do, they usually bring a lot of collateral damage with them. Sure, I don't want Donald Trump having control over the nuclear arsenal. But the policies Hillary supports have already made the world a lot less safe (see: blowback). They both have very destructive foreign policy ideas. She's trying to position herself as the responsible alternative, and she's not.
Jun 3, 2016 I was talking about the drone strike from two weeks ago... it was a precession strike that killed Akhtar Mansour. Supreme commander of the Taliban and leader of the War against the Afghanistan goverment.
Jun 3, 2016 I guess you prefer Trump's plan to bomb the s--- out of them and having ExxonMobil set up shop to take their oil so fast that it will make your head spin? He promised to bomb Iraq and Syria's oil infrastructure... every "square inch" (this would cause an environmental disaster at a level never seen or fathom before) and then turn the oil rights over to a company from Texas. She is absolutely the responsible alternative to think otherwise you would have to be high on crack mushrooms bath salts and spray paint.
Jun 3, 2016 I remember watching Trump's "I'll bomb the s--- out of 'em." speech and thinking just how little he thinks of anything. One thing ExxonMobil is an oil producer... they don't set up anything... they hire sub contractors 100% of the time who do 100% of the work. If you bomb oil infrastructure you'll make a toxic waste environment with chemicals unregulated... there would be so much H2S present no one in their right mind would go to the site. Not to mention the unexploded munitions... sink holes, oxygen deficient environments and so on. A normal reaction to this speech should have been stunned silence... but the idea of bombing non white people and stealing their s---... even though logically it wouldn't be doable got them all fired up.
Jun 3, 2016 In order to be a responsible alternative she'd have to have responsible judgment, and I argued that she doesn't. The fact that Trump is a lot worse than she is doesn't mean she's got good ideas.
Jun 3, 2016 Everyone who has reached the podium of a national debate has blood on their hands in some form... even Bernie. It's just a fact of life and death.
