Eminem Say Goodbye to Hollywood vs The Apple

    I have shuffled my music in the morning. The Apple played, then Say Goodbye to Hollywood. The flow doesn't sound complex on both, beat is simple, quality and production is roughly similar, content is kind of similar. But for some reason The Apple sounds forced, druggy, depressing, sad and just weird. I wonder what is it - Eminem's voice? Can voice alone tell us that he's been damaged? I just wanted to do the comparison. What exactly makes The Apple worse? Becuase SGH sounds way more "vivid, alive" even where he says depressing things.

    SGH is more entertaining and has better subject matter.

    Apple is a good song but SGTH is a classic and a top 5 eminem song imo

    It's very simple. The Apple wasn't meant to be released. Case solved. It's a great song though.

    Couldn't care less about The Apple. It's a good song but I never play it I find it quite forgettable. Say Goodbye To Hollywood is a fantastic song and s----s all over it.
