They did know. First his school didn't allow him to have a backpack. Then they didn't allow him on the property.

Then a gun store let him have an AR-15 and as many extended magazines and as much .223 and 5.62 he can stuff into them.

I don't only dislike conservatives. Manly liberals also believe in detestable policy such US imperialism which I disagree with fundamentally. If you can be logic'd into agreeing with out logistical support of Saudi Arabia's military campaign in Yemen, you might want to consider the values that fuel that logic. There are plenty of leftist intellectual types who effectively take to task these "great thinkers on the right" from Noam Chomsky to Adolph Reed Jr. Fortunately, I don't rely on a cult of personality to reaffirm my beliefs. I don't need somebody to tell me they're the "right" ones. In this case, that we shouldn't attempt to lessen the occurrence of mass shootings, I have so far found the logics as well as the values uncompelling. So yeah, maybe logic better if you want to condemn hundreds and thousands more to get shot down in public.

The left and right, or whatever arbitrary differentiation you use to categorize politics, all employ those championing logic. Nathan J. Robinson's profile of Ben Shapiro which I liked to earlier prove that much. The only difference is which guy you're listening to and what values he's interrogating with logic.

Yes, my values don't care about real life... when I'm the one advocating we perverse it by regulating guns and muh logicians are the ones saying this is just the price we pay lol.

We're both subscribing to values. Yours are just cloaked in reason and practicality while mine actually withstand moral scrutiny.

If you're on a fact finding mission, research the rates at which political violence is orchestrated by the right as opposed to the left. There's a vast disparity there, and you'll never guess which side is which!
