Walrus actually liked Trump when Trump was a Democrat who bashed Bush and endorsed Hillary in 2008.


The others were complete GOP lemmings so they probably fell in line after the primaries.

I kinda think I remember Walrus taking Trump University courses.

I just thought about the debates I was having in 2004 to 2005 on RB and other boards... a common attack a Bush Republican would launch on me was to lump me in with 9/11 Truthers who followed Alex Jones.

I used to bash Alex Jones and explain that he wasn't on my side and was just an opportunist... this would offend some other "Liberals" on RB.

I noticed at the time Sean Hannity would attack his Anti-George Bush callers in the same way.


Since then Alex Jones has said 10x more crazier s--- than his 9/11 bs... started to sell actual snake oil and sawdust and mildew pills and has became a mainstream Republican darling who Trump supporters listen to after Sean Hannity.

Funny how things work.

It does seem like the delusional paranoia and conspiracies has shifted to the other side now. But I do think it's more of a Trump thing than a republican thing. I mean where were all these specific r-----s before Trump came on? Even in the Obama years I don't recall seeing McCain or Romney supporters for example being like this. I feel like those republicans and neocons from the rb era wouldn't be a part of this autistic Trump shilling 'liberal soyboy cuck' hating movement. It just seems like since Trump came on a new wave of frustrated losers are suddenly into politics for the sole purpose of hating the left

I'd say that 85% of the people I know are Republicans... I work contruction... came from a community that was 100% white and Christian... all of them love Trump and think he is great.

I didn’t know the shooter bought the AR at only 18 years old. I thought you had to be 21 to buy one...I think 21 should definitely be the age to legally obtain firearms everywhere in the states where you can purchase guns. Your brains more developed compared to when only 18. You don’t see anyone older than 22 committing mass shootings.

And the last I read on that whole case the fbi was looking for a target who may have helped him. I guess they found signs there may have been another shooter.

I’m slightly optimistic that some action may be taken. Usually school shootings would already have been out of the media by now but the children [from the school] speaking out & organizing is really helping put the pressure on the federal government to take action. Something as simple as improving the background check system won’t solve our entire gun violence problem but it’s a nice first step.
