    I never said they should, just love it when people say “that’s not my job”. Also, I think the argument is only former military, etc carry guns

    Apparently there was multiple officers who stood outside the school while the shooting was going on. Absolutely disgusting... yet, people wonder why police are so unpopular.

    I’d be fine with people owning semi-auto rifles if we had universial background checks, mandatory testing, firearm registry etc. I just think there are ways we could address the issue without criminalizing people who do own such weapons.

    Do background checks look beyond criminal records? Most school shooters don’t have a previous record

    And keep in mind, the chance of needing an AR-15 preventing tyranny and mowing down US Troops is more important than the lives of innocents including children. Sorry if school shootings happen, but I gotta be prepared!

    i think it's funny in this day and age some people think they need weapons to defend against the government, as if they have a chance in h--- at winning with their guns if there was some kind of conflict, rather than just getting themselves killed or imprisoned almost immediately

    You guys act like the government could just send the military after its own citizens lmfao Do you really think people in the military would follow commands if the states got so bad to where the military was fighting against civilians with weapons? The military men are going home to their families to protect them. They’re not going to start fighting against their own people and family, going to random rural areas and farms to kick in doors and take their handguns and ar’s. Some of you are legit r-----ed.
