    Like what exactly? I agree there needs to be a more into depth background check in place. Something to where someone diagnosed as mentally ill shouldn’t be allowed to own a firearm. However, people don’t trust the government enough to vote for something like this because I’ve read good arguments where the government will try to then include people’s drug prescriptions as a disqualification to own guns.

    And these teens who are committing these mass murders aren’t walking into stores and buying guns as it is. They’re stealing off of family, neighbors or will find any way possible to get ahold of a gun. If we get a better mental health system in place at least we have a chance of helping these mentally ill people out while they’re in grade school before it extends to something like this. That’s really the only logical scenario I can think of to lower these shootings.

    Tbh , it's nothing new now.
    Terrorist attacks , school shootings, it's nothing new nowadays.
    Schools should have better security guards instead of some random old lady .
    RIP to all the victims.

    you're thinking too small. government should invest in buyback programs and rigid registries. there should be near, maybe full criminalization of most ammunition. there are things we can do.
