Jan 21, 2016 Despite the influences, great personality, and ear for beats, I can't say I'm a fan of Q or this album though. Many songs feel like they fade away to my ears with typical party hype stuff or generic gangsta material. Songs like Man of the Year may have great beats but it feels like I'm listening to hook-hook-hook-hook-hook with no verses and it similarly fades away while the weird Los Awesome really doesn't work to my ears. As far as the whole TDE thing goes (as if I could get away without touching on this), the more time goes by, the more it seems that Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar are the only ones to be checking out while the rest are just there somewhere in deep space with occasional good guest feature verses. Kendrick > soul > rock > isaiah > Q
