Thanks, I know what you mean. I'm in the gym a lot more now working on quads and calfs to keep my s--- strong, and I do feel stronger than I've ever been. But once I try to run and the soreness comes on its like all the confidence you built goes out the window. Hopefully I'll have a diagnosis by tomorrow so I can know how to approach it.

I don't know if I'm being ignorant by saying this, but part of me hopes its a meniscus tear as opposed to tendonitis or runners knee since those tend to be chronic issues. I already did 3 months of PT so I know I got the will to put in the work if I do have to get surgery. I'm still new to this so like I said, I don't know which one is easier to recover from.

If u can repair ur meniscus then it's obvs better than tendonitis, but if they have to cut the torn part out then you'll develop arthritis later on

Had that injury twice. Its painful but you don't need surgery for it to heal which is good.

yeah it sucks.. when it happened i thought i was fine and played the next play. i went to run and collapsed as the play started, f---ing s----d and was painful

mine sounds worse, Both occasions there was immediately alot of pain but it was okay after about 10 mins but was instable. Still did the squats a few days after just couldn't run or jump for 4-6 weeks.

nothing major for me, broken thumb, really sprained my ankle bad one time, but I'd so the most painful was getting pleurisy and the broken rib at the same time. s--- was brutal

slammed my thumb in a car door when i was like 7, didn't break it or anything tho, just hurt and I got a popsicle from the emergency room people

I got a whole in my skull when I was like 5, from falling over and slamming my head against a stone. I don't remember much about it, but I do remember I was really bloody all over my body.

I suffered a grade 2 separation of my AC joint on Wednesday playing basketball. I'm waiting for a referall to the specialist to see whether it will heal on its own and through physio, or surgery will be needed.
