May 1, 2015 Any chance you could add a voting system for users too? It would average out a decent score for all the albums. The voting reviewers give here are quite questionable, and seem to be based higher on their favourite artists. Just a thought tbh.. no hate

May 1, 2015 right, and 9.3 wasnt my review rating. it was my personal rating that was the place holder. my final rating was going to be around an 8.8 because Beast Mode was an 8.8, and Barter 6 is as good, if not better.
May 1, 2015 dont know if i should be airing out anything, but im not writing reviews for a site based off user ratings unless thats not what @FullSpeed meant if you mean there should be a section that shows user ratings as well, then sure why not. something like what hotnewhiphop or whatever has

May 1, 2015 That's awesome thanks, I cant take reviews seriously here when something like Barter 6 get a closer score to TPAB and all other albums are barely getting 8 or not even. @Narsh - Yeah thats exactly what i mean, User score beside S80 score.
May 1, 2015 ahhh okay sorry i was on edge like "WTF this n----- really thinks im gonna write reviews based off what users think the album should be??" but yeah id love to see user ratings for comparisons. i would think it was hilarious more than anything if barter 6 was at like a 3/10 user rating and i gave it an 8.5

May 1, 2015 why though m8? taylor wrote the badass review, i remember he liked it. <8 isnt bad. <6 is tbh. and you gotta be able to cite the actual criticisms/review man, you cant just go off the numbers when talking about biased reviewers (which is kind of an annoying/big accusation). we put a lot of time and effort into this. like, you like both yela and joey right, and they're both like high 7s. do you think one of their projects is significantly better than the other? i dont, and they have around the same rating. i remember for another site last year i reviewed oxymoron and gave it like a 7.6, but I LOVED that album a lot of the times its the readers/users giving into their bias more than us
May 1, 2015 The reviews on the blog are written by users, if @FullSpeed and everyone else think that they can do a better job, I'm pretty sure that they're welcome to try raise the bar. I haven't seen any valid criticism on the Barter 6 yet, I only see it compared to different (your favourite) albums, which most of you consider flawless.
