I agree with you about 80%. I think there is a moral difference between enjoying someone's art and paying money to enjoy that art. Enjoying it is one thing but to actually hand over your hard earned money to someone who is a known sex offender (for example) is only going to fund their bad habits. Same can go for any art form wether you are buying a painting for $1mil or using Spotify to listen to some R Kelly.

yeah it was released over a year before the murders even happened. It's such bs. Especially with the Drakeo case, cuz he literally did nothing but the LAPD is trying to get him on g--- conspiracy charges for some reason (racism).

I dont rly think too deeply about it but sometimes the hindsight context makes some artists and their songs just super weird to me

I'm assuming they're using it as a way to paint a picture showing motive to k--- in general. A cheap, s--- tactic. Don't get me wrong, it looks like he definitely did it and he's a piece of s--- I just think the tactic is incredible stupid (as do you).

I never had to worry about the MJ or Kelly issue bc I wasn't a fan of their music (incredible artist no doubt, im just not that into pop/Rnb) but I agree with OP. for one music is entertainment, its a creative medium so if someone makes an angry song im not gonna be like (he aint really gonna k--- someone, or he didn't ever do that) Sometimes if I watch interviews of an artist and I just really start to not like them as a person, sometimes that has effected me not gonna lie. I don't mean for it too but its almost like when someone you hate starts talking and you don't even find anything they say funny bc you don't like them lol. but that's a rare occasion though. now on the flip side, I have HATED a persons music before but seen them in interviews and actually liked them as a person (or as much of them I can judge by interviews) like I cant stand post malones music, but ill listen to him talk about his creation process or how an album was made. or tyler the creator, hes pretty much not even rapping anymore and hes doing straight pop s--- I wont listen to, but ill watch his interviews bc I think hes funny and entertaining.
