Nov 20, 2016 I think popular opinion could be a little skewed based on more obvious things like Kovalev being the aggressor or the untrained eye not seeing Ward's work on the inside and only focusing on headshots which Kov's were more pronounced. I'm going to rewatch and reconsider, but I'm pretty confident I scored that fight correctly. In regards to a rematch. I think Ward will do even better, but who knows with Russian judges.

Nov 20, 2016 Also, claiming Ward is a cheater for wrestling is dumb. It's like when Conor lost and people said choking was cheap in MMA. Ward is a throwback. Rules haven't changed since Dempsey or Marciano and people aren't calling them dirty for mauling their way inside like that.
