Jan 7, 2015 The blonde hair was always a gimmick, even in the 90's. He started dying his hair when he signed to Aftermath. He was still rocking his natural hair color while moving through the underground. At this point, dying his hair blonde again was probably meant to remind fans of his prime years. Making a MMLP sequel album was also done for that purpose.

Jan 7, 2015 Let's not forget Em even mliked 'love the way you lie' for a sequel to keep his career going, he didn't do that with 'not afraid' did he? No one cared about a not afraid 2 but the demand for love the way you lie 2 was overwhelming. Even Em knows which song (and especially which guest appearance) saved his career.
