    I appreciate Skippy's (and everyone else's) thoughts on this, I do feel like there are ways to grow the forum without killing off the Em section. I do think it helps contain most of them. And mods do a pretty good job threadbanning or fully banning people who ruin threads or get off topic.

    I wish I knew how to market the forum better/had time to do it, but unfortunately I only know basic coding and that's what I'm here for :)

    The fact of the matter is Eminem has a niche audience within rap and most ppl that like Eminem enough to join a site over him probably aren't going to be receptive of 90% of new music being discussed which discourages ppl from discussing it which discourages ppl from signing up when nobody's gonna talk about new rap cuz it's the same 100 ppl circle jerking over eminems newest call of duty promo track

    Imo its most important to keep the place interesting for a lot of people. So both 'dust heads' who like artists who still put out good music that have been around for a long time -no not counting marshall-, and people who like new/different artists, and that stuff.

    I'm a huge fan of Gates, Future and Gibbs btw but if the forum is gonna be about lil yatchie, lil uzi, designer, travis scott, memes etc I'm out lol (not a threat btw, just doesn't interest me).

    To be fair I prefer the regular music section over artist sections and spend more time reading Life & Entertainment.

    I get what you're saying @Skippy I guess my point is people post what they want to. If the other sxns are poppin with modern rap fans that's great, if people want to make a 1k+ thread about an album that still has no news, that's also great.

    The 'modern' fans spill over into Em threads to say how much they hate him and some Em fans spill over into the other sxns to hate. It's both ways.

    If the argument is that people posting so heavily on the Em sxn is 'scaring away' new people then I'm confused. I don't see this as a platform that promotes Eminem especially over everyone else, people just post where they post.

    You've mentioned some ideas already, but I think focusing on ways to drum up more convo in the sxns you're talking about, and attracting more younger people to the site is the best way to solve it. Deleting 'eminem cancer' will only solve like 30% of your problem imo.

    Honestly dont think eminem stans are the main problem. And the threads made with 'eminem sucks' or the responses, just ignore it instead :idk:

    We've got rid of dmx if we could get rid of nizzy i could live with it. Or maybe make it one or the other you can post in the em sxn and nowhere else and vice versa. Sort of like a wall scenario

    The board is run by technicians, programmers/developers without anyone specialising on sales and marketing and it shows since we're relativity small but have one of the best looking and feature packed forums

    these are the worst stans, any slight criticism on eminem (or his section on a forum ffs lol) is seen as a personal attack, so they immediately try to get witty and it's just a struggle f---. Or they think they are some kind of genius that knows all.

    in the past 24 hours there has been about 4 threads made in the em sxn. But you are absolutely right! deleting the eminem sxn will flood the forum!

    They don't rush en masse into every thread but there's a handful in every big one and I know this is petty but sometimes I get burnt out when I see 2 or 3 music threads about unknown artists and the only response is a dude with an Eminem avy saying "trash" in each one.
    Youre entitled to your opinion but I've had irl friends and url friends say s80 looks like a bunch of dustheads
