Sep 5, 2015 liked the song quite a bit actually, dunno how i feel about the video. but back to the song, it seems really well produced, and I liked your voice/singing. It also all seemed well recorded and mixed, so props m8
Sep 5, 2015 Wish I would have heard the song by itself. The video was all over the place. You gave the guy shoes, he leaves, and you're also at his destination. Then you guys go somewhere else and both get friendzoned by t-ts mcgee. Not to mention the random solo shots in the bedroom. The set piece was the car obviously so maybe try to build your narrative arround that next time. Maybe just pick those people up during each verse, have the solo shots for the chorus and end up somewhere together. Work on the structure. This just felt like random takes crammed into a single clusterfuck. I mean it's obviously DIY so don't sweat it. Nice production and mixing. The singing, though it was technically good, just lacked a tad bit of identity for me. It sounded like if I went on Spotify and set my mood to "Feel Good". Kind of a Sublime-ish reggae thing. Too inoffensive to get me interested. The lyrics didn't help either. Still, it's cleaner than anything I've ever done and there's probably a market for it. The production quality is there and that's more than half the battle. You just need that little spark to really set you apart.
Sep 5, 2015 I can see where you're coming from on a lot of this. I'm glad you gave legitimate feedback-- I'll keep it in mind.
