Vegas, Right for Me, Die Alone are all great tracks. Really felt let down by Yelawolf's verse on Twisted though

Gave the album a few listens now. Shady XV is a solid track. The FACK shoutout, Rihanna line and the ode to SSLP voice were standout moments. Wish the beat had more going for it though.

PK is great all around. Crooked delivers, Yela killed the hook and Em's verse was dope, if a little off beat at times. Liked the "keep walking the line" part.

Die Alone is okay. Em's a bit generic on it, and the hook is hard to hear at first, but it's passable. Premo's production on Y'all ready know is sick, Yelawolf held his own on Down. Vegas is awesome. Beat, hook, and Em killed it.

Bane was downright terrible. That hook felt like it would never end, and hearing Bizarre distressed me. It's not that the track needed an Em verse, rather D12 as a whole should have done something more memorable after a 10 year hiatus.

Fine Line is a highlight. Brubbels sent me a version with the bridge integrated with the hook, which should have been done in the first place. Loved the outsidaz shoutout, and the second verse had a nice feel to it. Twisted's good, didn't mind Skylar's contribution, Yela definitely stood out on that track, and Em's bridge is dope.

I want to like Right For Me. I've tried. It's got a lot of witty lines, but at times Eminem just sounds like he's rambling. Hook and beat are solid. If the delivery was different, and the verses less verbose and defined, it would've been my favorite. Detroit vs Everybody is pretty sick, even with the weak hook. Beat is on point. And Yela's Till It's Gone is a great lead off into his own album.

And how awesome was it to hear the Lose Yourself demo? Clearly it doesn't hold a candle to the final version, but if that's a sample of the s--- Eminem has in his vault, hopefully we get to hear a lot more.

Overall, much better than the Re-up, which isn't saying much. It's a good album, Eminem genuinely shows some wit again but I still prefer a slower flow to let you appreciate some of the lines more. Especially on Right for me and Psychopath Killer.

Overall 7 - 7.5/10.

Also, it's great to see this site up and running. I went to TR Shady for a minute when it was down and nearly killed myself.

.......if there is ANYTHING not to be felt let down about on Twisted it's Yelawolf's appearance on there. I'm not a very big Yelawolf fan at all and he did excellent on that track. It's a shame that the rest of the track is such s---, someone needs to tell Marshall that he can't sing and to please stop trying.

i might get a lot of flack for this... but on my first listen i preferred the re-up a lot more but shady xv has defo grown on me.

like the re-up it has its hits and misses, but also has its few share of gems. 'psychopath killer', eminems flow on 'vegas', 'twisted' and 'right for me' are my personal album stand outs. i'm not saying the album is s--- and the rest of the tracks are, because they're not.

it was nice hearing d12 again even if the track did let me down and while it's out of the question it did make me want a 3rd album from them.

my only wish is eminem changes his choppy chainsaw style ahead of his next album. 'shady xv' is a skippable track for me and 'die alone' is better suited for joe budden imo. his style suited the 'right for me' track and i'd be happy enough if tha'ts the eminem we see on his next album. 'fine line' is alright too.

overall everyone did their thing and it's a great album. yelawolf was amazing on 'twisted', 'y'all ready know' made me more hyped for the glass house album and i can only see shady 2.0 getting stronger from here on.

The opening track was the highlight for me. And the Lose Yourself demo. I don't see this having very much replay value for me. Btw, lol @ Eminem not being on the D12 song.

Oh, and I seriously didn't even know this album was out until I was walking around Best Buy and saw it sitting on the shelf. Shows how much I was anticipating it lol.

Good sheit: the Intro, Psychopath Killer (really only Em's verse), Vegas, and i think Right For Me's verses are very entertaining. Fine line's verses are great obviously.

But Die Alone.... If you've ever lost the love of your life, that song will give you chills. One of the only Eminem songs since his return that I felt some emotion from.

But seriously why are so many of these hooks mixed for s--- and inaudible at times?

some of the transitions from verse to hook are terrible! I love fine line but the way the chorus just seems chucked in ruins it! die alone could of been better with a yela or Eminem hook and the album is forgettable! I am already bored with the majority of it which is a shame
