Only had the chance to listen to this once the way through so far but wasn't really feeling it. That choppy type flow and voice gives me a f---ing headache. Will give it another listen though as there were one or two tracks I thought were a bit better but can't recall which ones.
Lose Yourself demo was obviously cool to hear. Just highlights how effortless and smooth it was for him back then.

Even if a compilation album is never that great, this one tends to be more forgettable that I predicted.
There are some good tracks like Die Alone, Fine Line, Twisted but they are far from perfect as always with Em these days.

Though a nice effort from the Shady camp, I think the result is not what they was hoping for.

One of they're mistakes was the track listing, if we had them in a different order (like the order of the 3 songs I give above) to fit thematically and by artist it may have been easier to listen to.
It's like forcing Yela, D12 tracks between Eminem's so the linear listener would have to listen to them. In that regard I feel like The Re-Up was better (only the order I mean of course).

With all being said, I feel like this album in 3 years will be referred to as "the Shady release with the Lose Yourself Demo".

Not a bad album though and I hope it will bring Eminem closer to less and less mediocre releases in the future...

I enjoy the album. After the first listen I wasn't so sure but after a few I really like it. Eminem seems to be hungry again for whatever reason and it seems to be driving him in the right direction.

It's his only song on the album without the forced, off beat, choppy flow. Feels very Recovery-esque, which is great until that awful chorus comes in.

Quick thoughts-

Hated it at first but I can kind of appreciate it now. I hate the rapid fire flow and wish his rapping was more simple like it used to be but oh well.

His wit genuniely is back(glimpes of it at least). Instead of trying to be edgy with s--- like "I do what I wanna man I pee on Rhianna" he's back to "I'll scar you for life worse than Dzhokhar". Actually, that whole verse on Psychopath Killers along with the beat is just>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> If that was a solo track that could have been special. Too bad Yellow Wolf and whoever else had to be on it. I still think G.O.F. was the best track on the album.

All in all this project>>>>> BME and MMLP2 by a very long shot. I was pleasantly surprised.

By the way is there a CDQ out yet or just the s--- quality?

Thought it was pretty decent, must say better than MMLP2. His erse on Psychopath Killer was pretty sick.
Fine Line and Die Alone also had a really good flow. Really surprised by Crooked I's verse on Psychopath. Royce was phenomenal as usual.
Don't know why he had so many Yela songs on here, maybe trying to get him more exposure?
