A lot of songs on this album I didn't like on my first listen but the more I listened to it they grew on me. Like Die Alone sure the beat & chorus are inadequate but the verses are vigourus, just give it a few more listens & I'm sure within time it will grow on you too, same for Bane.

I just can't imagine any serious person buying mmlp2, hating it, buying xv, hating it, and then deciding to come on here to discuss it all, and not even in a thread where their sentiments might be a little bit more appreciated, instead of simply moving on to another artist

Ok, after listening to the album a few times my thoughts are that it's ok at best (objectively). Production's good, some of the raps are good but i'm not really into any of the songs.
IMHO the biggest let down of XV was eminem. as soon as he starts it's just that mixture of stuttering, yelling, normal voice... I actually get annoyed when I hear it. don't understand how you can even call it a "flow".

That being said I can actually listen to GoF and somewhat enjoy it but his new double-time "flow" trickles back in at some points and annoys me.
TES/MMLP/SSLP are f---ing great.
MMLP 2 is ok.
Recovery is ok.
Encore/relapse aren't that good lyrically, but i still find his flow is good and listenable. both albums had some highlights too, but the downside were the s----tier tracks.


overall i'd say XV is I haven't heard anything from the re-up lately but I do feel like there's more songs on that i'd enjoy over songs on XV.

look m8, you don't have to defend Eminem every time someone praises him. Not everyone shares your opinion. Some people hate eminem's new flow but still love his old albums. you go on and on in multiple threads defending him every time someone says something as minor as "i agree with the article" and whenever someone doesn't praise him as the rap god, you start spamming ridiculous claims like "oh watch interviews of people in the industry" and "oh rick rubin and rod argent said it's good, so it objectively is"

being a stan in the eminem section is less annoying than being hateful and incinsere everywhere. am i not allowed to disagree with some bs article in my own section? kid almost everything you say is impossible to be taken seriously. first of all, he came into xv discussion comparing nicki to em, which is absurd. if you hate him just post elsewhere.

i think you having such a problem with me liking him is a much bigger issue with you than me liking him is an issue with me. you also, with a much lower post count and much later join date, "spam" to use your word a lot more than i do

if you are able to understand that not everyone shares the same opinion, why are you so opposed to people just discussing who they like in their own threads instead of baiting each other?

I'm just saying, you don't have to defend him every time someone says something about him that isn't positive.
