Eminem Shady XV Discussion Thread

    This is my POV on the album after listening to it today while at the gym

    It has some good songs, and it has some bad ones.

    Really enjoy some of it though

    I've come to the conclusion while listening to Vegas off this album that Eminem is still here..

    he's just older, more immature, less clever, still technically sound, and slightly boring

    With that said, Eminem's decline is the worst I've ever seen.

    Never seen someone fall so far from the top to this.

    I feel guts over fear got old too fast for me (my fault though for listening to it as much as I did). DVE is overhated, PK is great. Vegas isn't too bad either. it's addicting. almost like a guilt song

    Fine Line, GOF and Vegas have aged well, but the rest is pretty forgettable. I wish I had the instrumental of Right for Me

    I think "ShadyXV" is the only song I find boring on the album... Months later I still enjoy the whole album.

    The Fack thing was funny the first couple times, but meh. I also think it's the first time in Em's career when I disliked when he raps a capella. Not a bad song, but my least favorite of the Eminem solo ones

    I think the first song should've been a full posse cut like "We're Back" from The Re-up

    Can I just so that the beat/hook on right for me was to good for the trash verses that Em threw on the track? I mean seriously if he had done something similar to Fine Line or GOF with that track it could have been great.

    Would have liked Fine Line more if it wasn't for him shouting out The Outsidaz for emotional appeal at the end

    i haven't listened to it in a while but i'd probably give it around a 4-6/10. Em wasn't too bad on it, didn't like the intro track, liked his verse on PK, die alone was eh, right for me was okay I liked the 3rd verse if I remember right. Shady XV has Till It's Gone which is the only Yelawolf song I've ever liked. It's hard to give it an accurate ranking since I haven't listened in so long. I feel that Eminem wasn't bad on it but that he didn't do anything to blow us out of the water. I'd say he was pretty average on it other than GoF and his PK verse.
