Eminem Shady XV Discussion Thread

    Eminem, as a producer, had more bad beats than good beats on ShadyXV. The Title Track, Die Alone, and Vegas were horrible. Twisted was decent. Right For Me was good. But Fine Line was OFF THE HOOK! One of my favorite beats in a while. Such a classic Eminem beat. On MMLP2 he had some great beats as well, such as Brainless and So Much Better.

    I thought all his beats were great except Die Alone. I feel like Die Alone's beat was just mixed badly...

    Shady XV was disappointing.

    It was an advertised collab album that seemed to have just been random un-used solo tracks from each artists. A genuine collab would have had Yelawolf, Kuniva and Joe Budden on the same track or some creative combination like that. Also, this is Eminem at his worst lyrically. Yes, he's rapping at 500mph but it's really just random gibberish. "A lotion dispenser with a motion sensor". Anything to make a rhyme. It's like the equivalent of speed reading a whole book in 10 minutes with no comprehension.

    Fine line it's emotional . Vegas beast track . Gof good . Right for me hook strange but good . Shady xv title track it's like so far sequel

    Psychopath Killer is so slept on. Beat is crazy and everyone's verses were dope. Yela killed the hook too

    What is the consensus here for Em's verse on DVE ? Cause I always thought that one was great, for once that faster flow was spot on and really complemented that beat. Em > Danny > Royce > Big Sean on that track

    f---ing love this track, the delivery, the voice, the beat, the attitude, the vocal inflections, the lines, the overall tone, that ending a capella part
    i really don't understand the blind hatred for 2014-2015 eminem



    also, sidenote: that one line on right for me "i'm a misogynist, but i'm not masseuse, but my attitude is rubbin off on the youth!", this is f---ing gold

    g.d. this entire album is f---ing greatness to the max. The title tracks is incredible to this day. One of Em’s best songs and flow he’s ever used.
