xv is holding its own against cruel summer with regards to both sales and reviews. keeping in mind that there were considerably less people involved in this project, and that there was almost no promotion, i'd call it a win.

just goes to show that Em just doesn't have the skill to be the best anymore, MMLP2 got 780,000 sales in the first week but as a whole that album is fairly weak - probably the reason why XV sold so little in comparison

i'm not hating, i'm just saying that eminem has fallen off with his skills in the past couple years, he's one of my favorite rappers and up until recently he's been on point with his skills, i just think the last two albums haven't been that great, especially compared to his other albums

I'm talking about his solo albums and Shady XV, Recovery is probably my favorite Em album and all the ones before that are great, i just think mmlp2 and XV aren't as good as the other albums hes put out

i agree that he has improved in the way that he puts together his lyrics, like the complexity of them, i just think his delivery and sometimes his flow just ain't as good as it used to be. i preferred it when he was a lot more aggressive as a pose to what he raps like now

to say he makes what not everyone feels are the right artistic choices is one thing, but saying he lost some of his talent or skill or anything other than the ability to smoke a little ganj to know what sounds good is I don't believe fair

This is still his second best album after Revival. ShadyXV title song still on repeat after all these years. I was living in Thailand when this album came out. Good times.
